Get 30 minutes of daily exercise to exhaust your muscles, and get 7-8 hours of quality sleep per night. Right before you study or whenever you're dragging, take a 20-minute walk to oxygenate your body and refresh your mind. Avoid sugar, pasta, bread. They'll only zap your energy. Eat nuts, cheese, yogurt, veggies. Frequent small meals rather than large meals will keep your energy more constant. B-Complex vitamins help. 15 minutes of sunlight daily is good, too.

When u study and you're tired go and nap for a while cause when you're tired the brain is tired too so when u carry on your brain wont record most of the things you're studying.Next time youre tired have a little nap then when u wake up u feel better, then u can study.Sometimes when u know that you're were going to study make plans, so u can get a good rest, before u study so u won't get tired halfway.Goodluck with your studying.

I used to be like that too. I used to maybe sleep for an hour, then be awake with excitement the rest of the night. It was so annoying. Maybe you should try drinking some warm milk, take a warm bath, and read before you sleep? Reading makes the brain tired at night and it should make you feel like you're about to drift off. I also find that closing your eyes and forcing yourself to do nothing but try and sleep actually helps, because you just slip into sleep without noticing. Good luck!

You know, I have the same issue but I just keep telling myself "If I do this now, and I do it good, it's going to pay off later"
Sometimes there's no way of avoiding that sleepy feeling, maybe take short breaks, walk around your house, eat something?
I also drink a lot of water when I'm studying

Are you sleeping properly at night? I struggle badly with my energy levels when I am trying to study and have found that making sure I get 8 hours a night (which is tough) really helps. Even one all nighter in a week really screws me up. Good luck!

Exercise regularly. If you exercise, you'll feel tired afterwards, but you'll have more energy over all. Drinking coffee occasionally is okay, but it actually makes you more tired when the coffee wears off and disrupts your sleep. Eat properly too!

when i have to study, i make sure i get a 30-45 minute sleep right after i get home so that i wont be as tired when i have to study. i also keep my favorite snacks, like chips, cookies, and soda, and every time i understand something and get it, i reward myself with a cookie, chips, or whatever. it works for me. good luck!

Get some basil oil or peppermint oil. Basil works better, put some on a Cotton ball and sniff it periodically. It also helps one study and remembers things.

study but take twenty minute breaks where you close your eyes and are QUIET. Do this every other hour. Did it in college and it helped with three finals in two days. I slept like a baby afterwards.
