I was actually shocked. It thought it might be a close game but I would have never predicted a Florida blowout. Florida was playing thier best football last night and Ohio State looked like they were still asleep. Florida wanted it more, plain and simple. They were tired of everyone saying how they were going to get killed and how they shouldn't be there. They wanted to make a statement and they did. Ohio State thought they could come in, go through the motions, get the easy win, grab the trophy, go home, and celebrate. OSU was over-confident and it cost them.
I don't think the fact that Florida is a SEC team versus Ohio State being a Big Ten team makes a damn bit of difference. Both are very competitive conferences in football and have good teams.

If I was a betting man I would be sitting on the street today with a tin can. I admit, I thought OSU was going to bit ch slap the Gators.
After watching the game, I believe the Buckeyes were way overrated, while the Gators were way under rated. The Gators were clearly the superior team and I don't believe anyone could have beat them last nigh. Definately not Boise State.

considering all the hype OSU got throughout the season, being able to beat two #2 ranked teams in the regular season and having a heisman winner in Troy Smith I actually thought they were going to win. I bet against them cause I thought Florida would get lucky and pull a close win.
...so much for a close win

I wasn't surprised at all (even though I'm a gigantic gator fan). After a month of putting up with all that crap from the media, Florida stuck all those doubters in their places. And besides, they're an SEC team. And a very underrated SEC team at that.

I was cheering for Florida, but I have to admit I was convinced OSU was going to win it.

Not me, expected the team from the SEC to mow down ohio state. Florida had a good team this year even by SEC standards so believe it or not I saw it coming.

It was horrifying, I cannot believe what a a$$ kicking we got. I can understand losing to a better team but it was like Ohio State was in a coma. I think they must be getting lessons from the Browns.

It was expected. The favorite always loses in the BCS championship game.

SEC is a tough conference, OSU would have lost 4 games if they were in the sec this year. LSU, ARK.,TENN.,and AUBURN.
