What do I need to do in order to become a substitute teacher in California?

Here is a link to the California Department of Education that has all the information and other links within the site that tells you what you will need to do. Most states (I think) require that you have at least a two year college degree. Hope this helps.

Usually in any state, you contact your county board of education and they'll be able to tell you what you need to do.
