This girl who sits next to me never stops talking?

Question

In my geography class there is a girl who sits beside me, and she never stops talking! She tells me everything ... EVERYTHING, about her relationship problems, her parents, her friends ... it's so weird because I don't even know her that well. She just tells me everything. She can go over 10 minutes without stopping. And the worst part, is that at the end she will ask me a question like what I think about it or what she should do. She is one of those girls who talks like, omg, like like like, you know like, so like yeah, like and you know what I like mean right? Because like, ya know like talking this and like yeah, like ya know?

I find it ard to concentrate on my work with her talking, and I dont' want to tell her to stop because I would seem like a jerk, and telling a girl to stop talking when she's talking, is NOT Allowed lol.

What do I do?

Hahaha....I have this same problem. What I did is for one day I just kept talking when she was trying to do her work about random crap. She said, "Can you shut the f*** up?" I said, "now you know how it feels when you always talk. She never said a word to me after that.
Or, you can be more stern and tell her to shut up.

The best thing is to tell her straight up how u feel....Tell her
theres nothing wrong with having a conversation but tell her
ur trying to concentrate and u cant think straight when she does
like that. You will not look like a jerk if u tell her in a nice way.....
It's partly ur fault too because she has no idea it bothers u. Until u let her know how u really feel, she willcontinue to do so........she is unaware of her affects on you, so
Speak ur mind. You will feel better once u do it....

lol. Men only use about 2,000 words a day.....we need to get out our 20,000 words a day. I think those are the right numbers. But I know what you mean. I'm a girl, and I hate it when other girls talk too much. It gives me a headache. Just tell her you'll talk to her later.

Telling her to shut up or that she talks too much is too easy and bound to make others think you're a jerk. Find more creative ways of telling her to be quiet.

The moment she starts talking, blurt out random comments.
The moment she starts talking, pretend to fall asleep.
The moment she starts talking, make funny faces at her.

That will piss her off and nobody will think you're a jerk.

I hate it when people talk too much!
So what I do is simply tell her "I don't want to hurt your feelings, its just that you talk a bit much for me" or just say "hey, your talking is going to get me in trouble, you may not care but I do".

Worst come to worst take some advil for the headache from her talking.

Is it possible to move seats? It sounds really annoying, and i wouldn't want to talk to her just from the like like stuff. You could always tell her that your more into geography the next time she asks a question.

I think she attend wrong class, she should enter the counseling class instead of geography. One thing I am wondering is why the teacher doesn't say anything? Is he/she deaf? Doesn't the girl make noise?

p/s: maybe next time you can treat her a chewing gum..(to make her mouth busy)

live with it. pretend your listening. your social status and your grades are both balances you need to keep in life. focus on your work. when she asks a question just be like yeah and start talking alot. that way, she knows how you feel.
