1. if it's (2/5) times x = 14, then x = 14 times (5/2), so x = 35.
if it's 2 divided by (5x) = 14, then you make it 2 = 5x*40 = 200 x, then divide both sides by 200 and x = 1/100
(I wasn't sure which one you wanted)

2. 0x = 0
x can be any real number.

3. 77 > -11q
divide by -11 and switch the '>' to '<' since it's negative:
-7 < q, which is the same as
q > -7

4. same thing, divide both sides by negative 6 and switch the '>' to '<'...
4 < a, which is:
a > 4

1) Mulitply both sides by 5/2 to get n: n = 14(5/2) = 35. Unless you meant 2/(5n) = 14, in which case, 2/14 = 5n, 1/7 = 5n, n = 1/35.

2) True. :c) Seriously, the equation is 0 = 0, which is a true statement. That's all you can do with it. Any x works.

3) Divide both sides by -11, reversing the sign. -7 < q

4) Divide both sides by -6, reversing the sign. 4 < a
