Problem that my friend ask me one day and it still got me wondering. If you can figure this out, please do post in much detail as you can for me to understand to explain to my friend.

Problem:: Write a paragraph on explaining how someone picking a penny can cause the assassination of a future political leader; try to get it so the butterfly effect plays an important part, and molecular manipulation.

The butterfly effect is a philosophical theory of determinism, stating that even the change of the movement of the wings of a butterfly can change the future of the entire universe.
It's a way of saying for every unique action in a unique time there is a unique reaction in that unique time.
In that way, if you decide not to pick up the penny you may change, the mood of a border psychopath insane political killer that will decide in that moment to kill a political leader.

The butterfly effect is a phrase that encapsulates the more technical notion of sensitive dependence on initial conditions in chaos theory. Small variations of the initial condition of a dynamical system may produce large variations in the long term behavior of the system. try to emphasize that picking up a penny causes the bad guys to know that it is time because the moment you pick up the penny the effect starts and when the penny is actually picked up the molecules start going nuts....
