I have wondered the same exact thing. I mean, why make the damn tape in the first place!?!?!? Don't do it! Simple as that

They think that just because they are rich that nobody will stab them in the back and sell the stupid stuff they do. Then they get all emberassed when it comes out and act like they are the victims. Some of them even stoop so low as to sue their friends who let the tapes out.
It just goes to show the public that rich people do crazy stuff they regret ALL the time.

the tapes usually come out when there no longer in the spot light...they just say it was stolen or it accidently leaked out so they can gain back some of their fame.

They think they can't do anything wrong and they know they feel ashamed about it but they want to cover it up and make it look like they are innocent. . .go figure

because they are "actors" and they are "acting".....although i believe some are just plain stupid (ahem, Britney, Pam.....)
