Saddams biggest crime = offending Israel by offering $25,000 to the family members of suicide bombers.

Israel is the Capital of the United State if you haven't notice

All the Idiot US President are first selected there.

I can't think of a death to grusome for Sadam. After all he is the same guy that used nerve gas on the women and children of his own country, mustard gas on the Irainians. Allowed his sons to lower people feet first into shredding equipment.

That's why the Iraqi's executed him.

We should have executed him for failure to comply with the arms inspections. I think it would have been better if we had executed him for causing the war the day after we caught him.

Same goes for all the terrorist we have locked up. Some idiot thought it would be a good idea to put all these people in prison. By the Geneva convention these terrorist who fired on American troops should have been executed the day they were captured. The penalty for being caught out of uniform is death. Just look at what happened to Germans that were caught out of uniform behind our lines during WWII. I think you'll find they were executed on the spot.

Saddam was a victim of his own culture.

I will explain:
We can look at Saddam's actions from a civilized country and see that he committed inhumane atrocities... torture, killing 10k Kurds that were helping Iran while Saddam was at war with Iran, etc...

What we fail to see is that Saddam and his culture was barbaric. It is an eye for an eye there. If you are caught stealing they take your hand. If you are caught committing treason, you are tortured publicly and made an example of.

Of course those things are evil... yet, we fail to recognize that we are holding them to our standards when we are dealing with a country that celebrates in the streets with open gunfire and sees cutting off ppl's heads as the 'norm'.

I had serious questions on this issue but no more. You see he looked like an old man to me that needed to rot in prison. People like you have helped to clarify this for me. Yes he needed to die. What a shame it takes reading questions like yours to come to that realization. He didn't care about human life all he cared about was the area the Kurds lived in. He wanted the oil under their homes. Greed killed him, can you honestly say Bush has the same greed that Saddam did.

He deserved to die-but he really was not any worse than any of the other 3rd world dictators running around today. In fact by dictator standards Saddam was a wuss. Saddam was the Dr. Evil of dictators - a commical joke. But he did get what was coming to him.

Wow. do no longer carry decrease back, let us know the form you experience! conflict is gruesome. conflict kills human beings. there is not any way around that for the time of any respect. Nixon become elected in 'sixty 8 on a promise to deliver the conflict to a speedy end. quite he stumbled on himself stalemated on the battlefield with unacceptable civil unrest at abode - riots and killings the two. He resorted to the blanket bombings you consult with after his re-election in an attempt to "come approximately the warmth" and prepare the Viet Cong the US meant employer. It labored. The bombing marketing campaign delivered North Vietnam decrease back to the negotiating table. As you observe, it additionally killed many, a lot of human beings. In on the instant's international that should have been unacceptable, earlier Operation Menu it wasn't. generally, our strategies-set in the direction of indiscriminate bombing on the instant is with the aid of public reaction to Menu. It become a turning factor interior the way wars are fought. As on your assessment to the Blackwater scandal, could I turn your interest to the My Lai bloodbath in 1968. right here infantrymen opened hearth interior the village of My Lai in a scenario very very like Blackwater. between 4 hundred and 500 have been killed. It become a significant scandal at abode and greater than a number of alternative infantrymen have been introduced to justice. So what's the version between this and Menu? in basic terms this: in a chilly-blooded way, Menu become a sanctioned operation, at the same time as Blackwater and My Lai have been infantrymen (or mercenaries) working previous their orders - breaking orders, in case you will. a great distinction, possibly, yet a criminal one. So did Nixon circulate to hell for Operation Menu? If he did, then so ought to Roosevelt, Churchill, Truman, Oppenheimer, Curtis LeMay, Robert E. Lee, Ulysses supply, Stonewall Jackson... conflict is an exceedingly gruesome employer. once you are going to play to win harmless human beings *will* die.

Saddam IS dead...... Let it go... I hope you're not an American.. if so, you really disgust me, to even compare these two men, one who murdered ruthlessly, and then an American President, who has committed NO crimes..... All this question does, is shows a total lack of intelligence on your part, as well as poor character.

You want me to tell you what I think? You are not going to like it but if you can't stand the heat then you should stay out of the kitchen. I THINK you are either a crazy, mixed up still wet behind the ears kid or a stupid brain-washed terrorist that would not know a criminal if you were in Folsom prison with them.

Sadam was supposedly tried by his country for mass murders and genocide.

If someone would go to a criminal court with absolute proof that Bush did the same thing in this country, I would think the man would be a ball of nerves. Bush's murders have just happened in other nations of the world. That is up to the World Courts to take care of.

Saddam was tried, convicted & executed by the govt of Iraq for close to 150 murders. He was indicted for hundreds of thousands more. I think that capital punishment was appropriate for him.

Bush has not committed any crimes.
