I am 6'5'' 250 pounds all muscle just about. Is it okay for a police officer to be this big? Why or why not?

It really doesn't matter how big or small you are. All that matters is whether you have the brains, and if you're physically fit enough to be a cop.

Theoretically, it's OK for a police officer to be any size. However, before becoming a police officer you have to pass a field test in which your physical endurance and agility are tested.

Yep.... I'm a retired Cop and I was a field training officer. Just don't be a bully with a badge. Use your brain first then strength only after the puke refuses to comply.

Good because you can intimidate some people into giving up, bad because you can intimidate a little guy and he will shoot you because he's scared.
