I know you've tried to do the right thing but he needs to see a vet ASAP. Apart from the break, which is bad enough in itself, there is a risk of secondary problems like gangrene. He may also need pain meds. You'll need to keep a good eye on him to ensure he's still eating, drinking and pooping. Being prey animals, rabbits can just give up if they're hurt.
Don't overlook the power of some good old TLC. It's suprising how much difference some love and attention can make.

Well as soon as your rabbit broke its foot, you should have IMMEDIATELY taken it to a vet. If my dog had broken his foot, I would have freaked out and taken him to a vet right away. Its important that someone who is trained to take care of animals, a vet, take a look at it, because though what you did was good in ways, you still should have taken your rabbit to the vet right after it broke its foot, thats really the best thing you could have done. So toy should take your rabbit to the vet as soon as possible.

I am so sorry that happened to your rabbit. This website states:
that you should call a vet immediately:
http://www.houserabbit.co.uk/rwf/articles/emergenc.htm
and at the website it is stated:
". Broken legs can sometimes be fixed by lightweight casts, or pins and plates. A rabbit that has fallen from a height may also have internal injuries. "
I hope the vet can help your rabbit.

I know your trying to help your rabbit by making it a cast but only a vet knows exactly how to do it so i would take it there immediately. It's the best thing to do for your rabbit because it might not heal otherwise.

WHAT??? TAKE THE RABBIT TO THE VET. RABBITS ARE VERY FRAGILE AND CAN DIE JUST FROM THE STRESS NOT TO MENTION THAT THERE IS A HIGH RISK OF INFECTION. i recommend every rabbit question to google House Rabbit Society. everything you will ever need to know about rabbits is there. would you just tie your leg to a stick if it was broken?

I say bring it to the vet. You don't know if the bone is in the right spot so if you leave it, then it will stay that way and it will have a messed up foot

You tried. Ever heard of gangrene? It's the poison that sets in when something is broken, and makes the limb swell with pus and a painful death. Take the poor bugger to the vet.
