Then you can choose which ever channel appears to you, it is very common that sports are selected in this area. However, for women, maybe a good romance helps or the movie that makes them think about it more....
If you have a DVD player or a computer with DVD function, then
I suggest in these cataegories.
Comedy:
Mon Oncle or Mr Huilot's Holiday. A classic visual comedy.
Horror:
Nighmare in Elm street. A classic but who cares if they don't like it?!?
Animation:
Over the Hedge or Shriek or Cars. Good for kids but great graphics.
Romantic Comedy:
You got Mail. A witty approach for a woman who received a new male partner.

I have lots of favorites. It depends on what you are in the mood for. Some of my favorites (and good on the big screen)
-Star Wars - Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back
-Jurrasic Park, especially when they see the T-Rex
-Any of the Indiana Jones movies
-Superman II
-Halloween - the original one with Jamie Lee Curtis
-Just about any James Bond movie with Sean Connery, Roger Moore, or Pierce Brosnan. My personal favorite is "Live and Let Die."
-The Hunt for Red October
-Field of Dreams
-The Natural with Robert Redford
-Robin Hood Prince of Thieves
-Just about any Disney movie. Tarzan, Alladin, and The Lion King are my personal favorites.

definetly the ringer with johnny knoxville, and if you are into that odd humor rent both of the Jackass movies the second one is way better in my opinion, hostel is also a good movie as is snakes on a plane which would be good on a big screen. Beer fest is decent, and the Davinci Code!
