If the earth changed directions (spinning on its axis) would the toilets change direction (when you flush them) from counterclock-wise to clock wise or vies versa (depending on hemisphere north or south)? (yes or no and perferably why)

No. The direction of water in the toilet is not due to the rotation of the Earth as the popular misconception states. The whirlpool going down your drain is simply too small to be effected by this phenominon. It affects larger structures such as global wind patterns, oceanic currents, etc.

When the earth's rotation reversed, the inertia of the oceans created huge tidal waves that wiped out most everything. But I doubt that was what you were asking. You were asking if there would be an effect on plants if during the plants life cycle, there was 12 extra hours of darkness in a 24 hour period and the first light seen by the plant was 180 degrees off. The changes would be minor. Possibly some growth changes may be favored for the leaves to absorb light better. The biggest changes on the plants would be from the changes in the weather caused by the rotational difference. What changes in the weather? That was not part of your question.

Ok, now I'm stumped and pissed. I just researched this on line and the supposed scientists keep saying that it's not due to that effect of the earth spinning but they are full of it. It does it no matter what and they wont account for why? I experimented with this phenomina extensively and no matter what you do ( spin the water clockwise as fast as possible ) the water stops going in any other direction and starts to go counter clockwise. So I don't care about any coolio effect or what ever. It does it and it does it no matter what you do. So they can take thier experiments, calculations and science and flush them. You go and try and get it to do anything else and you'll see. It won't. Now, where did I put that towel ?

It's actually a myth that toilet water moves in a different direction when you move from the northern to the southern hemisphere.

As stated above, the Coriolis effect does not affect toilets:

As far as I know, the answer is no. The direction of the water going down the drain is independent of the Coriolis effect: it just has to do with the shape of the sink basin.

Wind speeds would be at 1000's of mph.Everything but rockcore would be blown off the face of the earth. Nothing and no one would survive. Nothing would be left alone. Not a darn thing!!!
Count me out for this experience, thanks.
For now I'm just gonna be blown away by this question.
