Reboot the computer.
Run adaware or another program that removes adware and spyware.
Run a virus scan.

Clearing cookies or deleting temp int files often speed up the computer but may make it longer to load up pages that it is familiar with.

Lastly, if your resources are being used heavily, adding memory greatly adds to you internet connction reliablity

Well one, is your router (considering you do)

Locked? It could be someone using a laptop or a person with a wireless card into their tower is "stealing your internet" well basicly using your router as a hotspot.

That or defrag your system scan for viruses and than close as many applactions as possable and if that still is a issuse restart your connection and your computer.

last case call you ISP and see if anythings wrong.
