Time is a man made measurement of the lenght of existance or pre-existance. You can ignore it, of course....But the knowledge of "time" is keeping you from leaving it alone.....If you didn't know about it....then yes.....All things and other "nouns" are able to be ignored....It is the self-power you might lack.....

Yes, it is easier than you think it is.
By understanding that time is an illusion and somehow connected with the overall mind/body link.
I will explain this better with some examples so you know what I mean.
A common one (does it happens) when you started talking to a friend or family member you have not hear or contacted in years that your sense of time disappears because you enjoy their company and the astomphere feels light and happy.
Some people were able to practice by ignoring time by focusing on the this that matters to them mentally.
Take Christian Science for an example (I have hear that), they believe that the mind of God is complete without disease or illness.
So time has no releavance once you adapt the idea of positive thinking (like focusing the things you enjoy the most), affirmations and mediation to clear their mind to accept that which is good and purposefully "deny" that which is not good in their lifes.

If you're talking about the 12/24 hour sense of time than I believe no. It is a man made invention to help us cope day to day. It makes things easier in life. Every sense of life depends on the 12/24 hour clock, 365 days in a year, etc... Listen to Lewis Black's (comedian) take on it. If you're talking about time in space than I believe yes. Take a look into Einstein's Twins Test. Time can be ignored if the capabilities are there.

yeah guy, i think time is a "circle" for lack of a better word. Every day, the sun does nearly the same thing.. night, day, night, day... I only use "standard time" so i can meet people at the right place, or get to work on time. if you don't work a "legitimate capitalist job" and just wander and wander, up with the sun is no problem. you could, in theory live forever without knowing what time it is. this is if you believe time is made by man and therefore flawed. of course, right now it is 7:30, and i have to get somewhere...

If you liive in the civilized world it is almost impossible to ignore time.
If you live as a hermit it would then absolutely be possible to ignore time, and just BE. - Actually, that sounds good to me at this moment.

I think time in humans is pretty similar to the instinct in birds that forces them to migrate.
I think it is possible to ignore time, but it bears an important amount of depersonalization. Madness in some of its forms is pretty like this: an state of confusion where you have an horrible sense of deceit, you don't know what-where-when you are nor what it means

Why not? It does afterall, ignore us. We ignore time, we get on with our lives, mindless of the minutes passing. We do not have time for time watching. We are busy filling our minutes with work, or pleasure and we do not notice it until something unpleasant happens, like pain. Interestingly enough, while we can ignore time and it can ignore us, neither of us can avoid one another...pity.

For a short while we can but Time is a force thats impossible to stop it will happen and eventually whether you like it or not will notice it.
"Time is so cruel it flows like a river endless without stop"
Make the best of your time its true. We dont always but its never to late not matter what time it may happen to be. Time should bring more knowledge to us in acadamics as well as in society are endless desire to learn more and experience more cannot be denied which will go on surely to the end of time.

Quite possibly, but it sure is a challenge...although I have observed recently that time does not always fly when you're having fun; for me it slows to a beautiful crawl. I don't know if that has any relevance but I just thought I'd throw that in there.

The number 1 rule I demand of my family when we are on vacation....NO WATCHES! We eat when we're hungry, we sleep when we're tired. Although that is wonderful 2 weeks out of the year, unfortunatley the clock rules our lives. Ahhhh, to be able to ignore time,full-time.
