Myspace is a sitting duck to internet predators, and if you apply for a job, your employers will look at your myspace account to see more personal things about you that you wouldn't want them to know.

You say it is corrupted by evil people. But if something is horribly corrupted and the owners don't take strong action against that corruption, are the owners not corrupted?

I agree that social networking sites are a good idea, but only when they are safe. If there was a safe social networking site, I would, by all means, take part in it. But that is the problem. Myspace is unsafe and corrupted, and no one is taking action!

well if you do not want them to know, then you should change your id so that only your friends can check things out. Number two, people say guns are bad, but guns are a good thing, it protects the good people from the bad people, unless you have bad people who get guns. A pencil is a good thing, but if you jab it into someone's head its a bad thing. Myspace is the same thing. In the hands of good people, you can talk and meet with others who you would never see or talk to. However perverts can use it to take advantage of little kids. It is a world bad and good, all things can be either, it all depends on the human that uses it.

Myspace itself is not bad; it is an excellent place to keep in touch with your friends. It's the people on myspace with little intelligence that give it a bad name. You shouldnt put anything on myspace that you wouldn't want your boss to find out; but people just don't seem to realize that.

Myspace isn't bad. IT's the people who do dumb things on it that are bad. My space is like a network. If you don't want employeers to see stuff set your space to private. It's very easy.

That's why there's a privacy setting. MySpace isn't bad at all...some of the people on it may be, however.
Furthermore, if you're so anti-MySpace, why don't you simply stay away from it and stop bitching about it? It should be of no concern to you.
