loyalty is becoming a lost characteristic in the world today. i would say that loyalty has to be developed and tried to be official. Many people act like they are loyal but when a situation arises, they are quick to switch things up for their benefit. Once someone or something is put to test of being true to a bond and shows no signs of wavering then it is more likely then not that that someone will continue to be loyal and should be given at least some benefit of the doubt.
saying all this i believe that loyalty once it is proven works both ways because if you are layal to something, its more then likely that someone or thing has shown that it is worth your efforts and you should have less doubt if any about the certanty or integrity of that which you hold loayalty to.
many make the mistake of being loyal when it is not returned but that is the part that you wont find out until it is tested. once proven loyalty should take some of the guess work out of decesions being that you can count on something you deem loyal to you or that you are loyal to.

without it nothing matters much as far as relationships go...I mean whats the point of being in love with someone if your not going to be loyal or faithful? You can be loyal to many things in your life besides a partner.Even dogs know the importance of being loyal. Mine does anyway.
