Wow, that's a great question. You don't often stop to think about that. I'm going to stick with the celebrities since I happen to be watching the peoples choice awards this evening.
There is one actor who has had a big impact on me this year, believe it or not. I saw the movie Kingdom of Heaven and Elizabethtown for the first time this year. Both movies were deeply moving to me. The first challanged my religion, catholisism, to a level that has changed everything for me spiritually. The second exemplified the relationship I had with my dad who happens to still be living. Seeing that movie inspired me to spend more time getting to know my dad, a police officer, who was seldom home growing up. So for me that would have to be Orlando Bloom, or technically his characters Balian and Drew.

Ok.. That would be my cousin. She's a great 42-year-old pediatritian who left medicine this year and dedicated her life to God as a nun of Mother Theresa's... I do miss her, but she's happy, and so are many sick children!
