'in harms way' -- I hate this phrase. Not because I don't support troops or anyone else who could be in danger. I totally do! But I find that this is one of those phrases that got started in the media and now politicians and journalists seem to use it in every other sentence. Its not an inaccurate or grammatically incorrect statement - its just overused. And anything overused gets annoying.

Disrespect.
Since when was that a verb or a noun or a real word for that matter? In my not so humble opinion, just the use of that word shows your lack of vocabulary and grasp of the basic English language. Everytime I hear someone who should know better use it, I shudder.
...Okay maybe it's a huge pet peave of mine.

When a guy refers to a girl as a good-looking son of a b****. I heard that about a million times in Kansas City. They'd say it to describe their own mothers.

"I could care less"....I hate when people say that! If you love something, then you could "care less" and still really like it, right? The idiots should be saying "I COULDN'T care less", saying that you can't care any less than you already do, which actually means you don't care at all, which is the whole point people are trying to get across when they say that.

"Have your cake and eat it too" If I have cake why wouldn't I eat it?
