I'd say ballroom (have fun and laugh and get to know one antoher better) or Slasa (very close and personal contact)

Ballroom and Latin, or either.
Start with Rumba and Foxtrot (if learning Amrical style) or Waltz (for either American or International style) and see what you like.
Try Swing and/or salsa are a lot of fun as well.
Try Tango, because your bf is already interested in it.

Ballroom and latin. Stick with GENERAL studios and don't sign up into expensive contracts or lessons. Go to group classes and start with the free ones. They aren't always the easiest to find, but are after all very cheap and informative. Check your local entertainment paper for such nights and ask others from there. Have fun!

Ballroom dances because they are romantic like tango,waltz, salsa, swing. They are also fun and great as a date.

I reckon you should take funk classes, they're fun! a great workout, and you get to do some rather suggestive moves if you want to. the dancing is really enjoyable, and it's something that will bring you two closer together.

Probably good old Arthur Murray classes. They teach you every kind of dance.
