i want something original... i want to maybe send her something at work (not roses or chocolates!!) or i dunno help me out

Send her something from an inside joke the two of you have, or depending where she works, why not a mid-day stress relief basket with tea, a few cookies or pastries, a little "desk buddy" (small stuffed animal) and a lavender scented room spray? If you have a talent like art or music, use that; draw a picture of her and send it to her in a nice frame with a note or sing her a song and download it to her mp3 player. I really love it when my boyfriend draws for me and most of what's on the walls in my dorm room is his work. Good luck!

Send her a small bouquet of some sort with a gift card to eat at her favorite restaurant with a note saying what time you will pick her up to take her there.

Write her a long love letter. Then give her something that will remind her of the way you met. Leave it on her desk or whatever.
This won't cost more than a dime, but it might make you think.

If she has a car wash it really nice inside and out and put gas in it. That is original. Or, stock up her refrigerator with everything it shows that you care enough to do that.
