Just say to him, "Dude, your breath could knock a buzzard off a **** wagon." Seriously, if you are his friend, find the right time and tell him, or back door it, and ask him, Dude, I want you to tell me, do I have bad breath? This could lead to a conversation where you can tell him that "sometimes" he does, and you guys/girls could make a pact to be the Kings/Queens of good breath and take over the whole world.

Lol. I would tell him or continually offer him certs or mints or something. It is offensive to be close with someone whose breath is kicking. My bf is the nice type like you. How long will you continue to suffer? Ask him if he ever had any digestive problems. Usually it is something maybe his teeth or intestines if it is an ongoing thing.

If he's a really good friend it's your duty to tell him. When you decide to tell him about his breath be straight forward with him and let him know that you're telling him for his own good and for his own sake of embarrassment. Good luck!

Just tell him his breath stinks! If you still feel awkward about it, try telling it to him in a joking manner. Mayby he'll think about it and check his breath.
