Yes, THEY ARE REAL PEOPLE!!they have modesty, self control, are seldom judgemental, and dont give a rats *** what brand name you friggen wear!!

I'm a very shy person but my husband finds it both annoying and charming at the same time. Some people have no patience for it or else they are unnerved by it.
I hate it when people say "stop being so shy"... that's like saying "please change your personality as I find you to be awkward and I am quite rude and cannot simply continue on with conversation". =)

Well, cuz you're honest (and modest), and that's usually a good thing. Egotistical, overconfident people tend to be quite annoying. I'm the same way as you =). However, I had a friend who was TOO insecure though and it got a bit annoying because she was always putting herself down, when in fact she was talented at many things.
