Electric okay--faster than a blade but not as close. Any of the major brands--Braun, Remington, satisfactory. I don't know the pricing structure for Australia, yet here,USA,$75 and up will be sufficient to do what you want on a daily bases.

I got an expensive one for my birthday. I'll tell you, it's nice...but still I get a closer shave with the regular "Good News" razor.. Maybe it's Gillette or something like that. Not sure what they sell in Australia. Maybe a decent one might be 40.00 in US currency.
Mine cost closer to 180.00,but my wife got it on sale at a large ware house. Sam's Club. I think.

electric razers can and will burn the skin.
there are a lot of razors out there but the less you pay the worse you get. they can be harmful to your skin.

Remmingtons are good. But electrics are never better than a good blade and cream.
