I have a theory I like. Intelligence evolved at some far distant time in the past. It eventually learned everything there is to know of physics, how to manipulate reality and became immortal.. When its universe got old it created a new one and moved in. As new species have evolved to its level they join. At the end of each universe a new one is created and moved to. This may have been going on for thousands, millions, billions or who know how many universes. If you want to call this mass of merged intelligence God you might be right but I doubt it is supernatural, it just knows everything and how to do everything.

One of two cases is the ultimate truth, and BOTH defy logic, yet logic dictates that one or the other is true.
Ultimately, either something spontaneously sprang from nothingness for no reason, or else something always existed without ever having being created from / by something else.
(and the something always existing need not be God - it could simply be that matter/energy itself always existed without ever having been created, and that it has the form we see now because of the big bang, or whatever created the universe as we know it)

The Big Bang is created because there was this point where EVERYTHING IS CRAMPED INTO IT. Eventually it exploded and that was the Big Bang, after that...the universe keeps expanding because that point is emptying out it's contents. That the scientific explanation to the Big Bang but we still don't know how that point was created.

Read pages 46 thru 52 of Ian Ridpath's book ASTRONOMY, DK Publishing, NY, NY.
He gives an excellent description of the event with multiple drawings in full color to illustrate the concept.
Look for this book at your local Library, or go to Amazon dot com to purchase your own personal copy.
