Kegal exercises strengthen the inner muscle in the vagina. These are done by pretending you are peeing, and then holding it for a minute, then releasing more ...on and on. You can start by doing it while on the toilet, but then can do it anywhere. If you can, ask your doctor, because it is important that you exercise the right muscle, if you want it to work.
It is important to do/learn, because after having children, this area gets weaker; knowing what to do to tighten up helps you sexually, but also so you aren't incontinent later in life. Good luck.
