What happened to being Latino, or Asian, or Middle Eastern or being a Native American. White and Black arent the only two races you know.

Erm....if I was black I'd choose black, if I was white I'd choose white and so on....... It doesn't make you a racist to pick the colour that you already are.
Just a thought though..... Why would my life depend on it? Since colour is a genetic thing I couldn't be alive to choose it in the first place, or have I missed your point????

Depends on the circumstances. In order for "my life to depend on it," then making the wrong choice would have to result in the likelihood that I'd die or be killed. So. . . .
If I was about to be dropped into the middle of Nazi Germany at the height of the racist hysteria with no way out and no back-up army - white.
If I was about to be dropped into the middle of the Zulu empire on the eve of battle when they wiped out their white opponents - black.
If was about to be dropped into the deep south and forced to live there at the end of Reconstruction when racist whites retook control - white. (More black people died during that period from violence and degradation than anytime other than during slavery itself).

Black because that's what I am right now and that's all I know. If I was born white I wouldn't care either, I'm sure I'll feel no different about myself.

Mix it both? im kind of half white and half Asian..my skin used to be very white..now its honey tan from playing in the beach too much. Add on with black will make it more interesting..kind of more exotic:O

When I was a teen I always wanted to be diffrent. Now that I am an adult I have learned to love myself and be happy with the way I am.
