I'm sorry to hear about your Mother's death.
I love to fly...makes me feel closer to God for some reason. I also love speed.
Ok, sorry I got sidetracked. Do you know where you could get some muscle relaxers? Maybe from your doctors? Maybe motion sickness pills would work. Just something to calm you down a bit. Just don't drink...they may not let you on the plane.

Good luck.

Get some Calms Forte from your local health food store or drugstore. Its a safe OTC homeopathic. Take 1 or 2 an hour before scheduled departure. If they don't have the Calms ...buy Black Cohosh and take 1 capsule an hour before departure. Don't drink alcohol with these.

First of all, I'm sorry for your loss, but I think you sould try to remember if something traumatic happend on a plane when you were young, if that's the case concentrate on relaxing prior to your flight, and tell your self that everything is going to be o.k. that your safe and that nothing is going to happen. Take a book on the plane, cards or a game that may help you to keep your mine occupied.

Don't think about flying. Take a book or two and/or a pillow. If you start to get nervous take deep breaths and if you get too scared ask the attendant, she can help you calm down. Keep busy.
Good Luck
Sorry about your mom
