Ok well, i'm 14 and a half now but it takes a really long time (like a year) to plan a Sweet Sixteen party, soo wat my problem is is that i really want a sweet sixteen but its like i don't really feel like being the complete center of attention (i know many people do but i am REALLY shy, so i don't) and spending sooo much money on it and it just seems so stressful. So wat i'm asking is, does anyone have any suggestions for wat i could do to celebrate my 16th birthday, instead of having a huge bash???

=] my sister had the EXACT same problem as you. She iS TOTALLY SHY && she didn't want to be really the center of attention. but that's her. [i, on the other hand am, just wanted to let u know..]

ANYWAYS, spending a lot money on your sweet sixteen is really easy so be careful. my sister actually took a limo to NYC at night, watched a broadway musical [phantom] and she went to Dylan's Candy Bar. For dinner, they went to a McDonald's, because it was VERY late at night.

simple right? yeap.

it's really easy. if you don't want to go to a broadway, just go to an IMAX theater. [I ♥ imax, it's excellent!] also, you don't really need to reserve like a year and half ahead. becuz your shy, just invite your close friends. having a sweet 16 party doesn't always mean inviting everyone in your school. & if everyone is your friend, then just only really invite your CLOSEST friends. If you can't decide, go with your family.

there's no determination no remember if that's a "formal" adventure. something much less may well be insulting to the host. i understand that folk right here will inform you to "positioned on what you're soft in, be your guy or woman individual" .... they are additionally the folk who positioned on turn flops to church and stress a school bus for a residing. Following suitable etiquette and donning clothing suitable for the form are info of a competent upbringing, teach admire to the host, and gratitude on your invitation to the form. donning clothing irrelevant for the form shows others which you lack straight forward social graces and reflects low financial and social status interior the community. related to heels, they do no longer look to be a call for at sixteen, yet an exceedingly low heel may well be suitable. Spike heels, while you're courageous sufficient to stroll in them, are trashy on young women. i wish which you bypass, and have exciting !!!

you should rent a limo and just ride with your close friends and then arrive and then arrive at your favorite place to go with the rest of your friends and Family, that way its not just you coming out alone.

I would just get a little hall and just have some of your closest friends there. Doesn't have to be real big.

why don't you have a night out with your girlfriends, go shopping, get manicures, etc? a sleepover, maybe, or something fun....
there are lotsa ways to have fun, and it doesnt have to be a huge party.
