My boyfriend gave me a ring for our 6 month anniversary, and I don't know what finger/hand to wear it on........btw, if it'll help, we're only 14

Wow, i hope i'm as lucky as you and get a boyfriend like that.I think the absolute safest finger to wear it on is either the ring finger (next to the pinky) on your right hand or the middle finger. You could also go really safe by just using your pointer finger. Just don't put anything on your left hand.

Usually that would be on your right hand ring finger (the one between the pinky and middle finger) but you can wear a ring on any finger except for the left hand ring finger (cause that's really just for a wedding ring).

That is sweet. Traditionally any ring given to a woman by a man to signify friendship, engagement or marriage is worn on the ring finger of the left hand. This would be finger next to your pinkie.

Rings are usually worn on the "ring-finger" also known as the fourth finger of your hand. It is right next to your pinky finger.

Happy aniversary, LOL! Usually people wear rings on their left hand, ring finger (the one to the left of your pinky) but since it's not a wedding ring I don't really think it matters.

you have a whole lot of choices. if you really like him you can wear it on your left hand the finger next to ur pinky. it's vein connects right to your heart(it's so cute)!! but you can chose whichever finger it looks the best on and wear it on that finger. as long as you wear the ring for him, its all fine!!!! good luck :)

where the ring on whatever finger it fits like the middle or the thumb what ever but idealy its called a promise ring and you wear it on your right ring finger.
