How can I get my husband to empty the trash?

You have a baby in the house!!! Sweetie, if your husband don't want to empty the trash is because you have being doing too much already and he thinks that one thing more is nothing.

Start by not making dinner, When he ask you tell him, "If I need to buy the food, prepare,make dinner, pick up the dishes, wash them, clean the kitchen, AND EMPTY the trash, then I'm NOT making breakfast, lunch or dinner!!!

If he start eating out because of this, don't do his laundry, and so you start the same list as before only this time you add, "If you are going out for breakfast, lunch and dinner and don't invite me or bring me anything, because YOU DON"T WANT TO PICK UP THE TRASH" then I would NOT do the luandry so you can"t go all clean and handsome, to eat out without me!!!!

Be strong, tell him that you love him, but that HE IS TKING YOU FOR GRANTED!!!. Tell him that you are his wife
"NOT HIS MAID!!! That you did NOT get marry to have him as a baby, but as a loving husband, for better or for worst, in sickness and in health, without you having to ask him to empty the trash!!!

Every time that he comes home, make sure you are dress to kill and presantable. Some husbands, loose interest if the wife looks the same all the time. When he makeS an advance to be intimate, there is your chance to say, "BUT HONEY I WOULD FEEL BETTER IF YOU EMPTY THE TRASH"!!!

You could ask him to. Thats the obvious answer. If your husband is the kind of guy that doesn't do as he is told you could be a jerk and empty the trash on his side of the bed.

IF your husband is a sports fan youi might offer to buy sports tickets for exchange of emptying the trash for 3 weeks. Or you can make a deal that either he washes the dishes or empty's the trash or force him to do it. If you say 'please' he will melt plike butter I know I did.

Get bigger bags and let it pile up! make sure you wear a gas mask. I think you walking around with the mask and the trash piling up might encourage him...if that doesn't work HE'S JUST AN IDIOT!

Ask him to take out the garbage. If he wont, you do it, but when he wants you to do something tell him you can't because are too busy taking out the garbage. Well, that second part will probably cause more troubles than it is worth, you may not want to to the second part. Just ask him to do it, or take turns doing it. Let him know you will take care of it one week, if he could take care of it another.

Do it yourself first. If he's any kind of man, he'll at least start to feel bad because you're doing a traditional "husband's job" and then start doing it himself.

Get a calendar......mark down every time he DOES something for the good of the family, and mark down every time you DO something for the good of the family.............
