Several months ago my friend had a dream that I had died, and she had to call me to see if I was okay, which apparantly I am. (We usually talk every day, but we had been busy and hadn't talked much for a few days) Last night she had another dream that it was Midevil times, she was dressed in a long dress (like in a servant dress) and went outside in the street, there was a bathtub in a wagon parked along side the street, she got in there, then she got scared when she seen a man walking down the street, so she sat up and had to cover up with something so she reached to the foot of the tub, and here it was a coffin not a tub. She woke up right away but was wondering what these dreams mean. Just a note of interest, a former co-worker of hers has just been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, they were not close at all, but did work together for a few years. Please set her mind at ease.

Death in dreams doesn't mean real death but a changing of job or some new interest will be coming along and so there will be a death of old interests or the type of work or even a hobby you were doing previously.
Don't panic over dreams like that they are never what they seem to be..

Only one can guess at the meaning of dreams, but in all honesty, i would say not to worry. Usually in dreams, death is a good sign. It signifies a new beginning and fresh starts. Your friend will probably be able to take care of some unfinished business. In regard to the co-worker, it is probably just a mere coincidence. You two are probably looking too hard into things and trying to draw connections. The man part was interesting though. It almost seems as if she is feeling unsecure about something (covering up) but also she was taking a bath so it could mean she is trying to cleanse her mind over something. Or maybe ts just stress leading to strange dreams! One can never know. Maybe pray about it?

It is best for her to interepret her dream herself. I took several classes on the theory of dreams and found that this tool is the easiest to try to understand what the dream means....

Think about each part of the dream by itself and what that means to you...
What first comes to mind when you think of Midevil times? Long Dress? Bathtub? Wagon? Unknown Man? Street? Coffin?

Once you have a list of feelings/ideas for these object place those words back into your story and see what new meaning comes to life.

Dreams are a way for our subconcious to talk to us in pictures and ideas. Our brains will add an object that holds a meaning to us to represent a feeling.

Tell your friend not to worry. Her dreams simply mean that she is wasting time worrying about being safe and she is missing out on life. She dreamed about your death because she wishes you guys could go out more and do fun things but she would rather stay home. She thinks that you think she is a boring friend. In fact, she thinks she is a boring person.

Tell her to stop worrying about "what if..." and go have some fun. She may have a hard time getting close to people due to a great loss she suffered when she was younger, but she can overcome that fear.

Good Luck.

She is probably worried and anxious. We all have dreams that bother us from time to time. She herself is probably the best person to interpret her own dreams as she knows herself best. Here are a few links that may be of interest to her.

perchance your subconciously feeling undesirable about the very shown reality that nobody likes her. in case you awakened with a very wierd feeling, and were given an identical feeling once you said this 'jess' woman... then it really is probable it. you're head's telling your conciousness that the very reality no-one likes her is amazingly affecting her, or a minimum of- will finally. basically smile at her next time you walk by way of, and roll your eyes next time your individuals are bitching about her, instead of guffawing alongside. even although she frustrates you (adequate to mentally punch her), it will sparkling your concious. i don't believe of it will impact you're popularity a lot both, because by way of the sound of it (the social gathering/myspace %section) you've were given a physically powerful social position.
