If I could turn back time
If I could find a way I'd take back those words that hurt you and you'd stay

I don't know why I did the things I did I don't know why I said the things I said
Pride's like a knife it can cut deep inside
Words are like weapons they wound sometimes.

I didn't really mean to hurt you I didn't wanna see you go I know I made you cry, but baby

[Chorus:]
If I could turn back time
If I could find a way
I'd take back those words that hurt you
And you'd stay
If I could reach the stars
I'd give them all to you
Then you'd love me, love me
Like you used to do

If I could turn back time

My world was shattered I was torn apart
Like someone took a knife and drove it deep in my heart
You walked out that door I swore that I didn't care
But I lost everything darling then and there

Too strong to tell you I was sorry
Too proud to tell you I was wrong
I know that I was blind, and ooh...

[Chorus]

Ooohh

If I could turn back time
If I could turn back time
If I could turn back time
ooh baby

I didn't really mean to hurt you
I didn't want to see you go
I know I made you cry
Ooohh

[Chorus #2]
If I could turn back time
If I could find a way
I'd take back those words that hurt you
If I could reach the stars
I'd give them all to you
Then you'd love me, love me
Like you used to do

If I could turn back time (turn back time)
If I could find a way (find a way)
Then baby, maybe, maybe
You'd stay

[to fade]
Reach the stars
If I could reach the stars

No

Life is a journey and the farther we go, the more we learn.

I'm 54. Based upon what I currently know, I might go back and change a few things.

But in another few years, I may better understand some of the events in my life - and find that if I went back and changed some things TODAY - maybe I should have left them alone. I could end up constantly going back and changing things.

What is, IS.

In the Babylon 5 tv show, they did some things along the lines of my answers. Like you would see something in show #25, where A was helping B out of a problem. But in show #35, you found out that "A" had really caused the problem and what they were helping "B" to do was really making the issue worse. It reminded me of office politics - you could never really tell what was the truth.

This is a great question.

No, I would not turn back time if I could.

Although I have made mistakes, each one helped me to become whom I am right now, and I very much like myself. I am exactly where I am supposed to be. I will continue on this journey, I will continue making mistakes, I will continue learning, and I will continue putting that knowledge to good use.

I have no regrets.

My gut reaction was yes.... only because then I might be able to stop some horrible things that have happened to those I love.

Then reality set in.

I believe things happen for a reason, and if we were to go back, any change we make may actually create a worse future reality...

since one never really knows what is supposed to be... I would opt to not go back in time...and just live life as it comes.

Wordy...lol...inno... but it's how I feel.

Hell yeah, I'd turn the time back to the late 80s early 90s, because that's when life was easy and fun.The 2000s have been a crappy decade.

No, if I were to change one little thing it would change everything about life. And no matter how screwy or horrible things get, I really like my life.

I would, but I would want to know then, what I know now. High school would be a whole new experience.
