Technically, we're all just one race. Our different skin colors and features are all environmental and happened over thousands of years of evolution.

Actualy, there is only one race now - the human race. In all liklihood, there will be different ethnic groups for a long time to come, given geographic barriers that divide people. Within countries with various ethnic groups, those that break down racial barriers will likely see and more and more interethnic mixing.

Race is a social construct. As long as society deems it necessary to artificially categorize people, 'race' will exist.
We could all be the same skin color, but we would still view minor differences as being 'race', perhaps eye color or weight.

In the beginning, there was only one race. And, if time allows, I do believe that it could go back to that.

Probably. All the societies and cultures will eventually mix and the dominate genes will take over. So eventually we will all probably have dark skin, eyes and hair.

There's only one human race right now.... so I'll assume there'll be only one in the future.

Unfortunately, that probably will happen. Race-mixing destroys diversity.
