I know he is attracted to me but it just hurts my ego when this happens. Any advice? Also how many times a week for intercourse is normal for a man that is 44?

Boy, He's 44. That's normal. Women's sex drives increase wen older and men's decrease. It's like some kind of cosmic joke. Sucks doesn't it?

This Question have me laughting a loud. My dear! may be nothing
is wrong with your husband, may be your husband just need some tonic to build up his body and on the other hand your husband may do too much running around in his young days and
he is now out of gas so to speak but get him some tonic and some good food and he will comes around. As for the Qusetion of how Meany times pr. week could he have sex? the sky is the limit!. Age make no deference @ all you could be a 104. if you are healthy & use to take care of your self you could be a 104, instead
of 44 yrs. old so just take care of your husband because it seems as if you loved him so just like I say get him some tonic &
some good food I think he will be OK. Has he been good when you met him? I do think so because you would not bee with him
even if you just know him take care of him. I noticest you did not
say how young you are. I hope you are not too young for the young man (SMILE) Romber that he is not a teen ager any more
so if you are in your prime like 18,to 30s. then you have to rember
that you are speaking about a 44 year young, Altho I did say age
dos not matter, that statemant still stand. Age make no drfrent for some men or women as well so again I ask you to take care of him and get him some tonic and some good food. OK????

I'm not clear on the question? 'Cause it's quite possible to have an orgasm but not ejaculate. It usually happens when the semenvesikel has been damaged. This is called retro or reverse ejaculation. In short it means that when he orgasms, the sperm doesn't come out through the penis, instead it shoots into the bladder. This is harmless, as the sperm will pass out with urine.

Men can have different problems as they age. While it is not our fault, it can be very debilitating to our self esteem. My ex was completely impotent (unable to get excited) and tried for a LONG time to make me believe it was because I was fat and/or unattractive.
It sounds to me as if your husband needs to get a prescription for Viagra or something similar. This is a HUGE EGO-WRECKER for a man and he will fight it tooth and nail. Hopefully your relationship is secure enough that he will do it for you, despite the embarrassment it will cause him.
As far as how many times a week...........my husband is almost 40 and we have intercourse about 12 times a week. However, I don't consider that "normal", I'd say normal is about 3 or 4 times a week.
I wish you the best, hon.

Not attractive enough. Best to go from your Madonna state to your slutty state. Maybe once a week as you describe the present relationship to an improvement of probably 7/8 times a week.

I personally haven't been able to because of many reasons...cold medication, too much drinking, weird condoms or just wasn't into it with the girl. I'm obviously hoping it's more because of some of those reasons as opposed to others.

i don't know why he doesn't ejaculate, but since he's married, i'd say once every month or so is normal. if you're making him do it several times a week, it's no wonder he can't ejaculate. he doens't have any semen left. he's bone dry.

Is he taking any medications on a regular basis? Many of the serotonin reuptake inhibitors prescribed for depression, etc. can inhibit or delay ejaculation.

men can reach orgasm with out ejaculating.

for the most part there is no average amount of intercourse.

however when both partners are athletic the chances of increased regular sexual activity is much greater.
