i was just told it was bad luck to hang windchimes inside your house.does eny body believe that myth.i have about 20 hanging inside my house. i was told that they kept evil spirits away,now i dont know what to believe. eny one know?

some people say, that when a wind chime moves on it's own, when inside your home, an angel has just brushed your wind chime with the tip of her/his wing. others think that a spirit has just wandered by, brushing into the chime. spirits and especially angels are very sensitive and intune with the harmonious notes of the chime and are attracted to this " soul music," even if it is barely moving at all, they can hear it. I think this is a beautiful thought

I used to have 5-6 windchimes in my room which used to be busy with spirits. The traffic slowed significantly from a throughfare to an occasional 1 or 2 once I took them down.

i was told about hanging them in houses along time ago by my mom, she said dont do that, i figured it was cause it would be annoying in the house, she later said it was bad luck to do that as it would drive away the good spirits, thats why you hang them outside to keep the bad ones out and the good in, kinda like a zip lock storage bag of the spirit world

Whoever told you it was bad luck doesn't know what they are talking about! They are NOT bad luck and they DO keep the evil spirits away! Enjoy those chimes sweetie-and don't listen to know it alls!!!

You need dreamcatchers to keep spirits away. Windchimes mean nothing.

Are they your beliefs? If not then they can't harm you. Keep your wind chimes if you like them . Dream catchers keep bad dreams away . But it all has to do with what YOU believe.
