I do it. My son takes the bottles/cans for cash to a recycling center. But by shopping at some stores that have lower prices (like Big Lots, for example), the need for coupons isn't so great. I can get food, toiletries, household products, pet products, cosmetics, etc. and since the prices are already lowered, coupons aren't really necessary.

We don't get refunds for bottles in VA, but even if we did that wouldn't add up to be worth our time... we do recycle, however.
But coupons... that is free money. We're not poor, but not rich either, and do like to take advantage of coupons. The best xmas gift we got was a huge book of coupons to places like restaurants, services like free oil changes, etc... which we will use to help guide where we go and who we do business with.
So No, and No to your questions...

Heck no, I don't cut coupons, but the old lady does. And it doesn't bother me in the least to use them. BUT I DO return my soda bottles and I keep all the change in a bottle. I cash this in when needed for a toy I want. Like stuff for my trike presently being built. LOVE IT!!!!

No. I return bottles/cans by the cart-full (sometimes two carts-full). I also use coupons regularly. Both are smart and responsible, I can't believe anyone would feel "caught" doing so.

Never do it. I find it annoying actually. When I go to walmart sometimes I get behind on of those women who cuts coupons and wants a deal on everything in her cart. It annoys me to no end, because she holds up the line to save a measley $3.00. Not worth it to me.

Here, there isn't any place to return bottles. And I have discovered I can buy products much cheaper and just as good buy buying 'store name' products verses name brand items. And....you can save lots of money buy shopping at the Dollar General stores.

I do both. A penny saved is a penny earned... (ugh, i think my mom used to say that... LOL)..
Sometimes I save $40 off a grocery order with coupons... and bottles, wellllll... we create quite the collection here.. might as well get our deposit back!
