she knew i didnt want anyone to know about a secret, and yet she still let it spread around school, everyone hates me and she wrote this letter to my other friend saying horrible things that arent even true, to top it all off she told my boyfriend that i love to death that i wanted to break up with him and then she went out with him, in a matter of two days! she made my life a living hell. I try to ignore, and i try to confront her, but she wont listen and i know in my heart these things arent true. What should I do??

gosh- situations like these really suck. I know this isn't what you want to hear right now, and you probably won't find it helpful- but trust me, this all will pass, and especially once you are out of highschool, none of this will matter. But if this girl is as big of a b**ch as she sounds like, then things will work out on its own. By this I mean that sooner or later, people at your school will eventually figure out that SHE is the b**ch and not YOU. If she was so mean to you, she is bound to be mean to someone else, so the truth will just eventually come out. In the meantime, just be a sweet girl- be nice to everyone. If anyone asks you about the lies, just be calm about it and tell them its not true. And most of all, be nice to the friend who betrayed you. Don't kiss her ***, but be friendly and just act like nothing about what she did bothers you. That will probably piss her off more than anything else! Good luck!

This was your best friend? A true best friend wouldn't act this way. I don't think you can or should do anything except confront her and tell her you are really disappointed and shocked at what she did. You can no longer trust her (obviously) no matter what she might try to do in the future to win back your friendship.
It sounds like you've discovered a side of her that you knew nothing about. Now that you've seen that side, you know better than to trust her w/your friendship again.
By the way, I'm sorry this happened.

Wow. Honestly i wouldnt bother with her if she wont listen. She sounds like a jerk. Talk to the other friend who got the letter and tell her these things arent true. You need to talk to your boyfriend too. There's not much else you can do but wait awhile.

it is obvious that she had the intention of taking your boyfriend away from you. she's not trying to hear what you have to say, because maybe she know she is wrong, and that she got the prize of stealing your ex from you. if I was you, don't even waste your breath trying to talk to her. she is trash, and a loser. just forget about her. She wasn't no friend to you, because if she was, she wouldn't have blurted out your secret, and then take your boyfriend. Move on sweetie.
