God existed even before the existent of time, so let is not debate about this question, save it for the PH.D philosophy or astrophysics ^_^ The following point of views about the existent of god and religion and science may be interesting or ridiculous, who know? You read it and decide yourself ^_^ but it sure will benefit you. ^_^

Do you believe in evolution? If yes then continue reading.
Do you believe in the cave man? If no then discontinue reading.

There are million of books, statues, materials that related to God. Correct?
There are billion of people believe in God. Correct?
There are million of people that have fought and sacrifice to protect their own god? Correct?

The cave-man had never ever understood any of the statement above. Correct?
So, which mean that the three statements above never exist during the cave-man time? Correct? Which mean that religion, books etc... do not exist at the time.

So, God only got popular or know to mankind since the beginning of the development of language. Correct?

So, can we live without god and religion?

The answer is yes! Correct? Because human didn't go extinct and they were able to live happily until the development of language.

If science didn’t explain things to us then human will just use the word God as an explanation to everything that they couldn’t explain. Correct?

Why not think of religion as a source of knowledge rather then God?

Religion and Science both are evil and good, why? It is because science created weapons eg. E=MC² that someday may bring us to a history. Religion wrote quotes that will bind our soul to God. (Once, you are in religion, you are in religion for the rest of your life no matter where you go.) (We are in religion since we were embryo) So, why don’t we learn their good things and use them to improve our world or continue to research or explore the universe?

We can also learn their bad things as knowledge to compare to the good things. If bad do not exist then good will not exist either, vice versa. (Everything in life has its opposite existent eg. beauty and ugly, ignorant and knowledge) If most people are ignorant in the undeveloped countries then will they understand what the meaning of knowledge is? It is because they couldn’t access to library, internet, school, books, etc… where do they get their knowledge from? From their friends or family member? What is the different of knowledge between their friends and their family members? If they are all living in the same village or city, think about it!

If fire created from god, so is disease. Correct?
If love created from god, so is hatred. Correct?
If God do not have to follow the law of universe then why don’t he created a better world for us?
Why did god create human to kill human? Why did god create animals to eat animals? Why did god create the 7 sins to let human suffer?

My final conclusion is that if he/she is silent then why do we have to talk? Why do we have to believe in him/her?
Are you going to be happily or willingly to accept someone’s statements like these here, god is infinite, god gives us freewill, god is silent, god create universe etc… this is no different as travel back in time and give the cave man a lighter to create fire then they will make a statue of modern human as their god. ^_^

I am not interested telling people what I have learned, but I can tell you one thing is that I love to read and I am current a college student.

The following is my answer to clcalifornia and Mike Freeway:

Cave man is just an example for comparison purpose only, for example, stupid cave man and intelligent modern human. A cave man can mean the time when human didn’t even know how to use weapon to hunt or just knew how to use bone to hunt etc… If you like you can go back to the time when we walk with our back facing the sky like animals ^_^

Well god is god, it doesn’t matter Chinese Buddha, Hindu Buddha, Muslim, Christian etc… because they all share similar stories, God created this and that, heaven and hell, spirit, soul, the most powerful, magical, energy etc… Religion and god is strongly bonded together, or you can say that they are the same thing; but the appropriate way to think that religion is different from god is that whoever thinks of religion as a source of knowledge or a school rather then god, as I mentioned above. Religion has really good knowledge that bring happy to human to our society, family etc… and to keep the human continue in their evolution so they don’t kill each other and go extinct and to avoid global warming and many more…

I already read the book “A Briefer History of Time” and “Universe in a Nutshell” which mean that I already understand about the equation E=MC² and science is just like a tool, bad or good is depending on the person who use them. I said that E=MC² is bad is because it has a potential to wipe us out; it is also good if we use it to do research or for engineer to develop time machine that can travel faster than the speed of light etc…

In addition: I though of a really logical answer to the question “What created the big bang? Or what is behind the universe rather than involve the word god.” (Will be on my next post)

Were as your logic is relatively good, your conclusion is all wrong.

Think about it.

You are making a great deal of assumptions which mess up your logic.

How do you know cave men didn't believe in a Creator? How do you know that they didn't have language?

The most primitive of tribes even now untouched by advanced language of knowledge seem to all have a creation story, a world-wide flood story, a God figure, a life after death theory.
Their "religion" aka language that promotes a faith theory, may be in other words than the more accepted religions, but non the less they have the same theme.

Thus I would find your logic wrong. My logic would say that humans from the get go have a god-story. Language just rewords it.

You do have both logically valid/strong insights and logically invalid/weak insights. Also I noticed that you use the word 'religion' interchangeably with 'god,' and that confusion seems to create a problem in keeping your writing coherent throughout your question.

I would not disagree with you on that the ability to use language is crucial in understanding 'God.' In Philosophy of Religion class I taught, I always made sure that the definition of God is given in every argument. For instance, the kind of God St. Acquinas talks about is different from the kind of God Anselm talks about. Unless you are talking about Hindu God, Zeus or mystic understanding on God; it is not too easy to respond to your question in a straightforward way. I might have to ask you what exactly do you mean by 'God.'

Another suggestion is to distinguish religion from God. Simply because the absurdity in religion does not necessarily imply absurdity on God as the formation of religion was greatly influenced by people and it took a long period of time.

If Science is evil... I take the view that the science is a matter of discoverying the patterns that exist in nature; rather than creating a brand new pattern. For example, Einstein did not create E=MC2; but he did discover such a pattern in Nature. For instance, Atomic Bomb or Hydrogen Bomb; Science would not say use it or not. It is actually human who use it. To me, what makes science evil is not the science itself; but it is the human who make science evil.

About the cave man... How far back do you go back? People who lived in the caves long long time ago left some drawings on the caves. Quite often drawings include the figures of animals or symbols that seem to represent nature. Perhaps it can be argued that they just wanted to paint like kids do; but from a different perspective, it can also be said that they had some primitive form of religion. It might have been called occult or peganism. Who knows?

Well!!!!!!!!!! The fundamental stipulations required for Existence of Life on a Planet are: * The planet will have to have factors like carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen and oxygen, which might be known as the constructing blocks of existence. * The planet will have to have adequate oxygen fuel in its surroundings required for the survival of dwelling beings. * The planet will have to have water. * The temperature on planet will have to neither be too prime nor too low. * The planet will have to have a protecting blanket like that of ozone layer round it. Earth is on the greatest distance from the Sun. Venus that is closer to the Sun has incredibly scorching temperatures . Similarly, Mars could also be having a prime variant in temperatures which Living Organisms are not able to undertake to. It is a rock planet. It is surrounded by means of surroundings to allow organisms breathe. The Ozone Layer protects the Earth from dangerous radiation. These could also be the factors for which GOD selected Human Life in this Earth.. But, right here: GOD Proposes; Human Disposes!! Human Beings have no idea the truly valued at of the Earth. They are spoiling Earth by means of polluting it.
