Is there a sequel to metal gear solid "twin snakes" for gamecube?

Does anybody know of an existing sequel or if one will be realesed and when?

I hate to say it, but no...the metal gear solid game for gamecube was actually just a remake of the original metal gear solid for Playstation (1 OR 2, im not sure))...

there is no scheduled sequel ((although i wish there was))...

if you want to get the sequel to that game, buy a PS2 and do a little research and i think youll find one...although it didnt use the name "twin snakes" on the Playstation...just keep your eyes peeled and youll be fine!

Well the Gamecube is essentially dead now, so if they release a sequel it may be for the Wii, but even that won't happen. And as someone here has said MGS2 is the sequel, but not for the Gamecube, since MGS (the original) was released on the PSone. As of now, the only recent MGS sequel is planned for the PS3, MGS4 Guns Of The Patriots (excluding the prequel MGS game that's out on the PSP and is a sequel to MGS3 Snake Eater).

"Twin Snakes" is a remake of the very forst Meatl Gear Solid which came out on the original Playstation, so in technical terms, Metal Gear Solid 2 "Sons of liberty" is the sequel to "Twin Snakes"
