Try getting up a little earlier so you are moving around earlier and your body starts functioning earlier. I drink a can of V8 every morning, it's a great fiber source, which will help things along as well as counting as 2 of your vegetable servings for the day. Also remember to stay hydrated during the day...drink plenty of water. That helps to keeps "things" loosened up as well. Good Luck!

It sounds like your system is set for a later part of the day. You could add more fiber to your diet and that will help. Also, using Metamucil, which can be bought over the counter, will help establish a better elimination system. Remember to go when you need to; holding it back sets you up for constipation and a change in your personal pattern. Good luck.

Try drinking more fluids or taking more fibre.
If this does not work lactulose works gradually with your own body to produce stools,a small glass of prune juice or even a few prunes themselves works for me.
