they became unsuitable for the environment around them and didn't evolve enough to survive the changing environments, that is why few direct descendants of dinosaurs are still around today.

There are many theories. The most believed one is that a large comet collided with the earth, setting off a nuclear winter (when loads of dust is thrown into the atmosphere creating a dark cloud which creates a very cold atmosphere since no sun can enter). The dinosaurs, being adapted for very warm weather, were killed by the freezing cold.

when God flooded the earth and had Noah build the ARK...the 2 dinosaurs of each dinosaur breed obviously didn't do to well after the flood and just died off and became extinct eventually...thus leaving us w/ no dinosaurs.

A lot of them couldn't survive the new world after the Noachic flood. But many still live today. Yet still many animals are becoming extinct every day. Dr Zebato

Meteor hit the earth, scorched the sky, ruined the atmosphere, killed off most vegetation... Dinosaurs that were not killed directly from the impact were killed because of those after effects.
There is a layer of glass from that time period in the earths crust, that supports the theory.

The fossil evidence is clear. When we dig them up we always find the same thing. The dinosaurs died lying horizontally.
