they were created and originally a "black gang", but times have changed and there are some hispanics and very little whites in the ORIGINAL crip and blood sets from LA, this is not counting the "imitation" gangs which started to pop up after those gangs got large amounts of media attention. The "imitation" gangs, because of being mostly in the suburbs consist of mostly whites.

At leaast in SLC,the Crips and Bloods were all races,but mostly Hispanic, some black and hardly any white.
