we have no medical insurance when and at the present time. we paid cash for the emergency visit and for the surgery that he had to have on his finger. my question is for the mesa school., what steps do i take for full reimbursiment with costs relating to his injury at school during school hours

you will just need to deal with the school on this. It does not mean they are liable as kids can get hurt at school. They may or may not pay just depends on the situation.

Unless it was something that was clearly the schools fault due to negligence, they don't owe you anything. Most schools offer insurance for use during school hours that you can purchase, my daughter gets the forms every year. But if you didn't sign up for and pay for that, I would say you're responsible. Check with the school.

Unless you can prove that the school is completely reponsible, out of incompetence or improper care of students or equipment ---the school doesn't owe you a dime.

Because what you'd basically be doing is suing them.

You could always talk to a lawyer though.

Your son didn't happen to have you sign (or sign himself) a waiver to allow him to play did he?

most schools wont pay. see if you can get assistance to help with the costs. your local human services agency could help

get in touch with the school board of that school and explain, they should help ya.
i think the school should pay for the medical bills, they get alot of
lottery money.
