So, what are all of the symptoms of a yeast infection?
I think I might have one, because I've been getting THICK yellowish white discharge for the past couple weeks, plus a lot of itching and redness. They're has also been a... well, stinky.. smell coming from there. It's kinda embarrassing at school 'cause well, it's bad. I mean, I shower every morning and stuff, but... Anyways, does this sound like a yeast infection, and if it does, how can I treat it? I'd like to avoid a Dr if possible...

What you have is not an yeast infection I heard that when you have yellow discharge is some kind of bacteria. I had have yeast infection for 5 years comes and goes but the times i have it it doesn't smell I only have a white discharge and burning and itching and pain in the abdomen area. But the only why to determine if is an yeast infection and what kind is it or another bacteria is to go and see your doctor.

It would very good be brought on from intercourse. Especially if used a few variety of security. Sometimes it takes a bit of even as on your frame to get adjusted to some thing new once more. Every at times while me and my husband have intercourse , I get indignant. ( Kinda burning and the lips subject of down there'll flip pink and get puffy. Normally this doesn't final very lengthy approximately an afternoon or so. Now it's incredibly feasible that you've got a yeast contamination, Sometimes it could possibly honestly be handed from a person to a lady. Especially if he used to be with any individual that had a yeast contamination and he did not understand he had it and wasn't handled.

yea it yeast infection.. You should just buy the medication (tube) and use before you go to bed.. It would help you kill the stuff in side when you wake up in the morning when you the bathroom.. But you have to use for three days... so you can clean up your infection and you should get the cream for you redness and itching.. they have that at same places at yeast infection package at the store..(i believe.. or if near the pads and tamponds..) and for while you cotton pants.. do not use anything else.. You get yeast infection is because your getting too warm down there and you not let it breathand because of the underwera you wearing... ..(there other information too) you should look it up... at less there one reason..

Yes, it sounds like you have a yeast infection. They can be treated without seeing a doctor, but you're supposed to go to the doctor if it is your first yeast infection so they can be sure it's not an STD or something else serious.

You can get several different kinds of over-the-counter treatments. I recommend a 3-day treatment like Vagistat or Monistat...or the store brand. It's 3 tubes of creme that you insert like a tampon before bed. And if you get the combo pack, there's a tube of creme you can use topically during the day, too.

Eating yogurt, wearing cotton panties instead of polyester, changing your tampons/pads frequently...all that can help prevent further occurrences.

Hope you feel better soon!

Yeast infections don't cause stinky discharge.

Sorry, but you need to go to a doc. One of the symptoms of thrush is thick, curd-like discharge, but not bad odour. There's something very serious about your symptom, you need to go to a doc.

Avoid any juice like orange or lemon etc.Drink Mineral water if possible, this flushes your system out, i had the same thing a few weeks ago. I am fine now! Too much acid in food and drink is usually the cause!
