Yes , it's bad ... buy it's not what I think , it's what God thinks ( about abortion ) .

God will punish the person who is guilty of taking another person's life .

It's fine. Rape, incest, teenage pregnancy, why should those victims suffer from an unwanted child. If we illegalize abortion, two things are going to happen.

1. People will start having illegal abortions in dark, seedy allyways, resulting in death from a poor quality job.

2. If they do give birth to the child, they will either leave it to die, death is a lot worse as an infant than as an embryo, or have an inner contempt for the child for potentially ruining their lives, which only breeds hate onto the child, which will grow up with a hatred for the world.

Making abortions illegal will do too much damage. It isn't like we are forcing anyone to have an abortion, it is a choice. If your religion says that it is morally wrong, fine, don't have one, discourage your friends and famlily, but the first amendment grants me the freedom FROM religion, which institutes the seperation of church and state, so you can't create some law based on your religious beliefs, that's unconstitutional.

However, I do not support abortions being a "oops, i got pregnant, i'll go have an abortion" idea. But if having the child could ruin the rest of your life, be born with horrific birth deficts or so on, I believe that it should be a valid choice. If you don't want to get pregnant, then you should take procautionous measures such as using condoms or birth control, or both, or whatever. However, abortions need to be an option out there.

first there is the religious point of view if you want to look at it that way: the baby inside you may not have been born yet, but it has been conceived....meaning it is a potential for human life, and therefore precious. It is not our right to kill an innocent human being, the most innocent in that its only ''crime'' has been its conception.

there is also the ethical appeal. The baby after only a few weeks already has brain waves, heart beats, formed limbs, forming organs, and can feel pain. It can respond to light and noise. people use the argument that they should be able to do what they want with their body, but it is not their body. It is not a limb, but a body inside another body. It has completely different genetic code. Then if you ever read about the procedures.....i have read the different ways that the babies are killed. i wont go into depth because it is quite disgusting, but....

another convincing argument is purely scientific. there are many risks that come along with abortion. The chances of breast cancer increase significantly (especially if this is the first pregnancy.....explanation.... when you become pregnant you begin a hormone process that matures the breasts, making them less suseceptible to breast cancer....but when you interrupt the process with an abortion the cells are left in a transitory stage, which is most susceptible to mutation). then, there are so many complications that can happen during the procedure. there is a huge list of complications and problems that can follow. and then there are the aftereffects....most women feel some form of depression aftwerwards.

then there are so many alternatives. you can take responsibility for your actions and give birth and raise your baby. you can give it up for adoption....there are plenty of families that want them. and any life, whether in an orphanage or a foster home, is better than no life at all. and i know that for at least my state there is a policiy that you can walk into any hospital and just hand your baby to any worker and walk away, without giving your name or any information about yourself whatsover. should discomfort or embarrassment or a career or bad timing or an unwanted child or not enough money be the reason for murder?

i could go on forever....there are a ton of reasons why is its bad....

I think abortion is a horrible, terrible act that is placed on an innocent human being. No matter how unhuman like babies look in the womb, they are still human babies. There are certain cases though that have grey areas like if somebody was raped, especially if they are a child or if having the baby will kill them. With these, I haven't an opinion on because I consider it very unfortunate and wouldn't know how I would handle it if I were in their shoes. But other than that, I cannot tolerate abortion. How can an abortion doctor sleep at night knowing that they just murdered something precious. How can they look at their own children and not feel regret. Some women, after having an abortion are unable to have children afterwards even if they want them. Some women have nightmares and bad memories about their babies. Just terrible. America tries to find too many loop holes through too many things, and this by far is the worst loop hole.

The only instance I can think of when abortion should be forgiveable is if the would-be mother was raped. The unwanted sex was bad enough, so why should you have to put up with having the baby? In all other circumstances, the mother needs to have the baby, whether it was planned or not. Killing it just because it's inconvenient for you is a terrible decision, and I can't believe that so many do it. If you really are incapable of raising a child, you need to put it up for adoption.

As for aborting babies to save the mother's life, I don't think that can be proven. If I'm remembering correctly, I think the birth of my older brother was supposed to kill my mom, but he was born very healthy, and my mom was able to have me AND my little sister later.

Well i am a Christian so i believe that it's overall bad but i am young and i understand that people make mistakes....and it all depends on the situation....i think it's terrible for women to get abortions just because people have abortions like its a normal everyday thing....i think abortion should be avoided and should be a last resort in certain cases, such as rape victims and things to that nature otherwise i would say its bad.......like i hate when grown people that like have jobs and have a roof over their head have abortions just because it's not the right time for them that's the worst to me.....

For the second question "do you think abortion is bad???": In my opinion, it is a personal choice. I think abortions are right for some situations, but I hope to never have one

There are people who are going to argue either way. In situations sometimes abortion may be the only option such as rape or when a child will be born into an abusive or unloving family or if it's a choice between the child or mother. It's a personal choice and something no one has the right to decide for another, so you're gonna get a whole bunch of crap. It's your decision.

If its life threatening and your having an ectopic pregnancy then Abortion is the only way to save your life...Other than that I wouldn't abort. If your having thoughts of not wanting a child. Carry it to full term and give him/her up for adoption. I feel Abortion is Wrong and should of never started for just getting rid of your baby.

Bad. But depends on the situation. I believe if you were responsible enough to have sex than be responsible enough to care for the baby. There are plenty of ways to prevent it from happening. Now if the situation is that you were raped then I could understand why a woman would not want to have it and if you keep it might harbor bad feelings towards the child. But in that case there is always adoption. Only you can really determine if it is the "right" thing to do. How that one decision will haunt you for the rest of your life or worse yet affect your capability to conceive later on in life. If a woman feels that she really can't care for the child then give it up for adoption. There are plenty of couples out there who wish that they could have a baby. Having a child isn't easy but whats done is done and we have to face the consequences of our actions.
