How can human's eye color change over time? (without the contact lens, but naturally.)

I was born with blue eyes. One parent has blue, the other hazel. In my early teens my eyes changed to green.

Eyes do change color as we age, generally lightening.

horemones (cant spell) i was born w/ very dark brown eyes and now theyre lightbrown in the middle and a greenish on the outside but they still look brown sometimes
color mostly changes as you go through puperty or have kids or i think some medication that have horemones in them can change it too

i dunno but sometimes this happens to babys many babys are born with blue eyes and then they change to brown as they get older also you can have surgery to change ur eye color now

i think they change just as u get older cuz i've had bright blue eyes for a while and now they're turning like a blue green! so idk its just genetics i guess sry :(
