No, religion is a Belief and this Belief unites the People who are in the same Belief together in something eternal and greater than any society.. .. Religion is not a Social Club, a Government or a Place where you go to have a good time.. it is more.. the people are not united by fraternal blood, or culture, but by the faith in the same Loving God. It is this faith, this belief in a Loving God, that unites us as Catholics. The Blood of this Loving God our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ, that was poured on the cross for us, unites us as brothers and sisters the world over.. No matter where we are, we are one in the Blood of Christ, in his name and in his Church, we are one Body,, His Body here on Earth, his Loving Church. So you see Religion is something greater than a Society.

No, it is not... Religion is part of our society... religion is a way of thinking relying in beliefs about morals and god... A society is group of people w/ many ways of thinking, they don't have to share anything to be part of a society...
