was friends with an evil girl in my grade. She got mad at me because someone started a rumor I was dating her ex boyfriend. Its totally untrue. So we never talk but she likes to be an @ss calling me sl*t, bit*h and all sorts of names. My friend John and I work together in geometry and this girl walks up and indirectly insults me. She talks to my friend and waddles over to where we are sitting. she trys to find out what we are saying and always stares at me when shes over at my desk. I have another class English with her. We had a substitute today so the end of the period she walks up the aisle and stands right next to my desk. I'm like can I help you. I'm sick of seeing her face and its like shes trying to get my attention. I've tried ignoring her. What should I do? Multiple people have told her I'm not dating her ex. Is she trying to get my attention? What should I say to her?

You need to detach yourself from the drama. And you're right! She wants your attention. It's old, it's overplayed, but when she knows she can't bother you, she'll stop. I mean, nasty, little people like said girl LIVE off drama. Cut her off, and she has no use for you.
t's tough, especially when she's trying to mess up your life, but you need to ignore it. Taking the high road sends a clear message to everybody else that you are NOT playing her games, and instantly invalidates anything she says.
Please don't waste your time hating, or plotting revenge- I mean, you know you're better than her, so what's the sense of taking up so much of YOUR important, valid time with her dumb little mind games? You're better than her. Act the part, and your problems will be solved. (disclaimer: instead of telling that to her face, just don't talk to her. You don't want to give her any ammunition.)

Confront her about her behavior (nicely) and talk it out like two mature people. If she can't or won't, then make it clear to her that you will no longer tolerate her bad behavior and that you will report her for harassment to your teachers &/or pricipal.

Your response to her negative attitude is nasty! You should just ignore her when you can, avoiding social situations. You are not going to change her mind about her ex if you respond. The problem is hers, not yours. Let her ex handle/deal with it.

turn the other cheek.

when you love your enemies, you heap burning coals upon their heads.

she wants a reaction. if you are nice to her, she'll be furious.
