I have retired from a great career, have children and a wonderful husband, have lived on a sailboat, spent years in the Arctic, visited a number of countries, lived in different cultures, but by far the best really big change was the birth of my grandchildren. There is no love like the love between a grandparent and a grandchild.

The biggest changes in my life happened within the last 5 yrs. I was about to turn 21 and had a few flings with a guy and got pregnant. We actually ended up staying together and we now have 3 children and we are 25 yrs old. We are also married. I didn't think anything serious about him in the beginning but I am so glad that things happened the way they did. I turned my life around. I've grown up a great deal and I love my family. They make me very happy. I never would have guessed 5 yrs ago when I was a single woman only looking for a party that I would be married with 3 sons. I would say that's the best thing that ever happened to me :)

joining the military. it was a life changer because i found out things about myself that nothing else in life could have showed me. not only that, but that's where i met my husband. it was the best decision i've ever made. i came out with a higher confidence level, great experiences to tell our children, the best friends that will last a lifetime as well as a husband. and i wasn't looking for a husband - nor a boyfriend for that matter. i was strictly there for me. fate works mysteriously.
