I am frustrated. I have had some contractions, but none close enough together to go to the hospital. My hands are a little swollen today and vision a bit blurry. Anything else I should walk out for?

Swelling and blurred vision are things that HAVE TO BE CHECKED OUT ASAP!
Hospital...NOW!
It doesn't matter that you aren't having regular contractions, you could have pre-eclampsia, and that can be fatal, so switch off the computer and let the hospital know you are coming in to be checked over.

Blurry vision could be a sign of high blood pressure. Call your doctor and let them know. Swelling is probably normal.
Don't bother going to the hospital unless you are in active labor or your water has broken. They will send you home!
If you are already dialating, then walking around will help. If not, it won't help.
Unfortunately the only thing you can do is wait until it happens. I know you feel miserable, but there isn't a whole lot you can do.
Some "remedies" are have lots of sex, eat pineapple, and drink raspberry tea. I tried that last one and my water broke 2 days later.

Blurry vision is a sign that you need to contact your OB ASAP, but I wouldn't worry about the swelling if it's not too much. That part commonly happens.

GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM IF YOU HAVE SWELLING AND BLURRED VISION. These are symptoms of pre-eclampsia and you could lose your child. Call the doc ASAP!!!
